The Department of Digital Media at Alnoor University holds a discussion session on students’ practical projects for the first semester
The Digital Media Department at Alnoor University held a specialized discussion session to review and evaluate students’ practical projects for the first semester of the current academic year, attended by Professor Yass Khudair Albayati, Head of the Department, along with the faculty members. This session comes within the university’s commitment to enhancing students’ practical skills and developing their creative abilities in digital media, in line with the university’s philosophy of graduating a generation of media professionals qualified for the labor market and the demands of the digital era. The projects presented during the session covered multiple areas, including short graphic design, multimedia editing, website creation, poster design, and short video production. These works were distinguished by innovation and high technical skills, reflecting the students’ level and their dedication to applying the theoretical knowledge gained during lectures and practical training courses. During the session, each project received constructive critical feedback, with the Head of the Department and faculty members noting that most of the works were at an excellent level, while taking into account the different student levels and their prior experience. The discussions emphasized the importance of further developing these projects to become part of local and regional activities and to participate in national and international competitions, providing students with opportunities to showcase their talents and gain broader practical experience.
