The Alnoor Center for Smart Agriculture Research at Alnoor University organizes a scientific workshop on modern agricultural technologies

With the attendance of the Scientific Assistant to the President of Alnoor University and the Deans of the Colleges of Arts and Education, the Alnoor Center for Smart Agriculture Research and Sustainable Production at Alnoor University, in collaboration with the University of Mosul, organized a scientific workshop on Saturday, 28 March 2026, entitled: (The Role of Artificial Intelligence Technologies in Developing Smart Agricultural Systems and Achieving Agricultural Sustainability) under the supervision of the Center’s Director, Dr. Walid Badr aldin Allayla. The workshop featured specialized scientific lectures delivered by Mustafa Nazim Qaba, Head of the Entrepreneurship Division at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, and the assistant lecturer Zainab Tariq, a teaching staff member at the university. The lectures addressed the most prominent applications of artificial intelligence in the agricultural sector, and its role in improving agricultural productivity, reducing waste, and promoting sustainability concepts. The workshop also discussed the importance of employing modern technologies in addressing agricultural challenges, developing smart agricultural systems capable of supporting food security and achieving sustainable development, as well as enhancing scientific cooperation between universities and research institutions in this vital field.
