Digital Media Students at Alnoor University Explore the Radio Broadcasting Environment During a Scientific Visit to the Iraqi Media Network – Nineveh Branch

As part of the training program for students of the Digital Media Department at the College of Arts, Alnoor University, the department organized a scientific visit on Monday, July 27, 2026, to the Iraqi Media Network – Nineveh Branch. The visit aimed to strengthen the practical aspect of students' education and provide them with the opportunity to gain firsthand insight into a professional media work environment. The university delegation was received by the Director of the Network's Nineveh Branch, who welcomed the students and emphasized the importance of cooperation between academic institutions and media organizations in preparing qualified professionals equipped with both knowledge and practical skills. During the meeting, students were introduced to the operational mechanisms of the Iraqi Media Network, its role in delivering media messages, its various departments, and the training and development programs available to Digital Media students. The visit also included a field tour of the Iraqi Media Network's radio studios, where students observed the stages of radio program preparation and production, broadcasting procedures, control rooms, and the modern equipment and technologies used in radio broadcasting. They also gained insight into the daily workflow and the processes involved in producing media content in accordance with professional standards. This visit forms part of the Digital Media Department's ongoing efforts to expand its training partnerships with reputable media institutions, including the Media Training Institute of the Iraqi Media Network in Baghdad. Such collaborations provide specialized training opportunities that help students develop practical skills, refine their expertise, and enhance their readiness to enter the job market.
