The Department of Translation at Alnoor University tests the abilities of first-year students at the outset of their academic journey in the department

As part of its commitment to raising the academic level of students, the Department of Translation at the College of Arts, Alnoor University, in the presence of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Wael Alnahas, and under the direct supervision of the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Nada Salem Omar, conducted the written Placement Test for first-year students. The examination aims to assess the linguistic proficiency of newly admitted students and diagnose their academic abilities, thereby helping to guide them toward the appropriate educational track and to develop instructional plans that contribute to enhancing their skills in translation and language. The test was conducted in a well-organized environment, reflecting the College’s and the Department’s keenness to support the educational process and improve its outcomes.
