The Department of Clinical Psychology at Alnoor University organizes a scientific visit for its students to Alsalam Hospital

As part of its efforts to link academic curricula with practical application, the Department of Clinical Psychology at the College of Arts, Alnoor University, organized a scientific visit for its students to Alsalam Teaching Hospital.

The delegation was headed by Dr. Asmaa Ghanem, Head of the Department, accompanied by a select group of faculty members. They were received by Dr. Muzahim Mohammed Alabboush, Consultant Psychiatrist and Director of the Psychological Unit at Alsalam Hospital in Mosul, who, during his meeting with the students, highlighted the essential role of this specialty within the healthcare sector, emphasizing its importance in helping individuals overcome psychological crises and regain their emotional balance.

In a gesture of appreciation, Dr. Asmaa Ghanem presented the University of Alnoor shield to Dr. Muzahim Abbush in recognition of the fruitful cooperation in opening up field-based learning opportunities for the students.

The visit concluded with a comprehensive exploratory tour through the corridors of the Mental Health Unit, allowing students to closely observe the nature of professional work.
