Assistant Professor Dr. Nazim Younis Salih, a faculty member in the Department of Translation at the College of Arts, Alnoor University, participated as a member of the examination committee for a master’s thesis in Translation, submitted by postgraduate student Sarhan Sabri Mohammed Hassan to the College of Arts at the University of Tikrit. The thesis, entitled (Evaluating the Translation of News Tickers into English on Al-Sharqiya News Channel) addressed a topic related to the translation of news media content and the linguistic accuracy and specialized translation skills required to convey news content into English accurately and effectively. Dr. Nazim Younis Salih’s participation in this academic examination reflects the distinguished academic presence of Alnoor University faculty members and their contribution to scientific and research activities. It also strengthens academic cooperation and scholarly communication among Iraqi universities, contributing to the advancement of postgraduate studies and the improvement of scientific research in the field of Translation.
